Farm stay in Green Bay
Farm stay in Green Bay
Description
This quaint 1743 farmhouse has been lovingly restored and offers a quiet reprieve from the city or rest from a long drive. We are at the end of a private road and are nestled among 70 acres of hardwood forest. Nights are dark and quiet and days are filled with free ranging chickens and guinea fowl. We are diligently rebuilding native habitat and work on site. Our home is on the property across the ponds. A confirmed identity is required for booking. The space The farm is an invitation to pack your yoga mat and books waiting to be read and come for a few days of rest and rejuvenation. Sleep in and enjoy a morning walk thru the woods. There is no tv but plenty to do in the area. Observe our pollinator habitat in progress. There are plenty of rural roads for cyclists. Guest access Guests can access the woods and trails, fish (catch and release) observe bee hives, enjoy the outdoor shower and there’s a fire pit. Other things to note We have a landline available and a cellular booster and internet. We have a Tesla charger on site. There are free ranging barn cats, bees, chickens and chatty guinea hens. Additionally we have Great Pyrenees and an English Sheppard who are friendly. We’re also typically working around the farm early in the morning and through out the day.
