The Granary is a delightful detached south facing barn conversion with fabulous views situated in Over Stowey in the foothills of the Quantocks - an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the first designated in the UK. The Granary offers exceptional, spacious self catering accommodation for two. It is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area with its free roaming herds of wild red deer and Quantock ponies. The space Ideal for walkers, the recently designated Coleridge Way starts from the National Trust owned Coleridge Cottage in the neighbouring village of Nether Stowey. For cyclists, the Quantocks have miles of cycling trails and here at the Granary we can offer plenty of storage for biking equipment. For birdwatchers and walkers alike, we are within 15 minutes' drive of the stunning new Steart Marshes reserve, run by the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust. Guest access The Granary has its own pretty garden and a south facing patio. Ideal for eating outside or just enjoying a drink. A small barbeque is provided. There is ample off road parking. Other things to note There are a couple of steps down to reach The Granary entrance and a spiral staircase to the bedroom means that this property would be unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems.
