We are set amidst stunning rice terraces in one of the most desirable areas just 7 minutes by scooter from Ubud center. Our home has been creatively repurposed from a century-old teak Javanese Joglo. Lovingly restored piece by piece using all the original wood, doors, panels, and a majestic vaulted thatched roof. Fusing old charm with a modern flair the home has complete folding doors throughout to open and naturally integrate with the tropical environment. You can feel the rhythms of the day and the delightful breezes through the house from across the paddies. Each small detail has been tastefully and artfully thought out with a sensitivity to 'less is more'. The feeling is grand yet intimate with oodles of poetic, stylish twists. Hand-polished concrete surfaces, antique vintage furnishings, heritage tiles, river stones, and all-natural and local handcrafted materials are used. Original artwork and hand-selected crafts. There is an extra high canopy over your mattress and high-quality linen, handmade ceramics, and kitchenware. Guests love our enchanting outdoor shower and terrazzo bathtub under the flowering frangipani tree. Your stay comes with delicious Balinese gourmet breakfasts which will be served in the morning at the requested time (08.00 - 10 .00 AM) and full housekeeping services by our wonderful staff Sugi, Baruk, and Kadek. We have a full-time gardener Wayan and our manager Yuni is always available on-site or by phone to assist you with taxis, tours, classes, massages, bike rentals, dinners, home food deliveries, and any local advice or assistance you may need. We are located in the middle working rice fields. You can take a walk down to the village to explore the area and seeing the farmers working on their land. There are a couple of resorts located within 15-20 walking distance from the property . Our area Pejeng becomes one of the most desirable locations in Ubud since there are so many expatriates who live in Ubud building their houses in this area due to its serenity yet not far from the center of town . We have 3 drivers on call who will be always ready to drive you to town or take you on daily tour around Bali. We offer special honeymoon and anniversary packages with flowers and confectionary for that extra special time or surprise celebrations you may want. Please just let us know in advance. - Our house manager will check you in with a welcome drink and orient you to the area with recommendations and assistance for restaurants, tours, local walks, village customs, classes, entertainment, transportation, etc. We offer the contact numbers of our house manager and staff to assist you at any time with anything you need. - Unlimited drinking water, tea, and coffee are offered during your stay as well as wine, beer, and some soft drinks for purchase if needed. Private laundry services for your clothing can also be arranged for next-day cleaning. - At your preferred time our housekeeper will prepare you a fabulous breakfast of your choice using fresh, organic local ingredients. - Our family chef Putri can prepare you a Balinese home-cooked dinner feast in the comfort of the villa. Putri also offers cooking classes at your villa to learn hands-on the local flavors and cuisine. The class starts around 3 pm finishing with your own dinner on the deck at sunset. - We offer reasonably priced in-house spa and massage treatments, as well as pre-arranged private yoga classes. - We can provide and recommend our own pick-up service to Bennu from the airport or your previous accommodation. - Tours and entertainment around the island can be arranged by our house manager at local and reasonable rates.
