My place is close to the city center (5mn drive/ 2km walk), parks (Nelson Mandela park, Saralana park, Independence park, Port-Vila seafront, etc.), art (Diana Tam gallery, Camille Bastien foundation, Michoutouchkine & Pilioko foundation) and culture (Utlalo foundation, national museum, Chiefs nakamal, etc.). You’ll love my place because of its good location, its cosy ambiance, and the friendly people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, flash-packers and open-minded travellers. Come to our tropical archipelago, and stay in our nicely appointed boutique retreat just 5 minutes from Port-Vila downtown. The Vanuatu Rainbow Lodge combines a conveniently located guesthouse with good comfort to create a nice and memorable experience for your ultimate Vanuatu trip. With a maximum of 7 guests at a time the Vanuatu Rainbow Lodge is an oasis of relaxation and cultural experiences. The Vanuatu Rainbow Lodge is an Adults Only retreat and does not cater for children under the age of 16. You are welcome to stay with us at Vanuatu Rainbow Lodge! PLEASE NOTE: Our Blue Bedroom is a shared room, dorm-style, with one bunk bed and one single bed. We will let you know if one bed is already booked when we will receive your booking request. If so, you will have the possibility to confirm your request or cancel it at no charge. If you confirm please bear in mind we may accept additional booking during your stay. if you don't want to share your bedroom, we recommend you to book our Purple or our Green Bedroom. Thank you for your understanding. Guest access We have a fully equipped kitchen, which features: – one fridge, – one toaster, – one rice cooker, – one coffee machine, – one microwave oven, – one kitchen double-sink, – four gas burners, – Etc. Our open-kitchen has a breakfast bar which can seats two guests, and a all-day tea and coffee making facilities access. Our dining room seats 6-8 guests. We also have a large outdoor dining area. Please bear in mind all indoor areas of Vanuatu Rainbow Lodge are non-smoking. Designated smoking-area is outside, where ashtrays are available. Other things to note Friendly Pets living on the property Venus (born on the 31st of December 2015) is a Blue Heeler/ Border Collie cross mix. Eros (born on the 13th of October 2015) is a Red Heeler/ German Shepherd cross mix. Minette (born on TBA) is an island cat. Our Culture Vanuatu has a prolific cultural heritage; rich with arts and crafts, carvings, sand drawings, paintings, pottery, weaving, jewellery, traditional clothing and hand woven baskets…. We feel blessed to live here among the Happiest People on Earth (Happy Planet Index, 1st in 2006 and 4th in 2016!) and we want you to know just how special and talented our ni-Vanuatu people are.
