High Country Outlook B&B: A Private Adults Retreat

Note: There is NO Victorian Short/Stay Levy added to your costs 😊 A self-contained adults-only (no babies/children) retreat overlooking the High Country with a 42” Smart TV, DVD player & DVD/book libraries. N.B There is 1 x QS bed. An Oasis Room & heated magnesium pool offers relaxation & skin care without the worry of sunburn/bugs. Your luxury suite is located at the front of our home. We provide 2-3 days of breakfast provisions, snacks & fruit, a baked treat & several beverage choices. The space Your B&B is a fully self-contained retreat with a locked door between guests and our living space. There are three areas that can be used as work spaces - a dining nook with two comfortable chairs in your section, the outdoor patio area containing a small table, twin chairs and an ashtray with panoramic views out to the mountains, or the small alfresco table and chairs in the Oasis Room with views over the pool. High Country Outlook B&B is in the perfect location to have a winter break without the expense of staying in expensive ski resorts - we’re only an easy and picturesque 60 km drive from Mt Beauty where you can leave your car and take the snow bus up to Falls Creek - Australia’s only ski-in/ski-out resort - so there’s no need to fit expensive snow chains to your tyres — win win!! There are easy picturesque walks along the creek within 200 metres from our front door and a plethora of excellent mountain bike trails only 4 kms away, or you can explore the gorge trails, as well as try out the new rail trail to Beechworth only 600 meters from your front door. The picturesque alpine towns of Bright and Mt Beauty are within an hour drive away, while the historical town of Beechworth is only 20 kms up the road. We maintain Covid-19 cleaning practices to ensure the safety of our guests. Privacy in the B&B itself is assured while guests share the front porch, the backyard and pool area with the owners. For a fixed price, we offer pickup services from the Albury Airport or the Wodonga and Albury Railway Stations, as well as chauffeured day drives for guests without a car. Guest access There is a key safe situated outside the main door if we are out when guests arrive, otherwise we are available to greet you and show you around. Other things to note Please be aware the magnesium pool is a shared space offering comfort and relaxation, while noise is to be kept to a minimum for neighbours. It is heated from mid-spring, throughout summer and into mid-autumn, however please be aware the pool heater isn’t switched on at all during late Autumn, Winter and early Spring as there aren’t enough hours of daylight to heat it sufficiently. Parking is available in a dedicated buffered parking bay on the street directly outside your private retreat - Yack is a very safe town & our street is located in a quiet area with mainly local residential traffic only.
