The village of Petrognano stretches over the green hills with vineyards around the road from Barberino to Certaldo. It's a bunch of old houses scattered, but if we look well we see stone towers, with elegant and finely decorated arches and lost medieval towers in the countryside. Petrognano is nothing more than the village of a city that disappeared from the name Semifonte mentioned by Dante in the sixteenth canto of Paradise: 'Florence made in there, Semifon became a city'. The ancient parish church of S. Pietro is located on the farm, reduced to a simple chapel. Rich in vegetation and wide valleys, the Fattoria is the ideal place to spend wonderful moments immersed in the pleasures of unspoiled nature.
