Description
Large detached 5 bed home in central Cambridge next to the river and Midsummer Common. The house has fantastic space for extended families or 2 families sharing. This is our home so it comes with everything you will need to have a fantastic stay. Central Cambridge is a 15 minutes walk across Midsummer Common or Jesus Green. There is a large garden with a terrace for al fesco dining and a play area with a climbing frame, trampoline and airplane seesaw. Lots of local pubs and cafes. The space The house has five bedrooms, two doubles with ensuites and three further bedrooms. One has a single or double bed, the second has a single bed and a sofa bed, which could either sleep two children or one adult, and the third has bunk beds. These rooms share a bathroom that has a full size bath and separate shower. The en suites both have walk in large showers. As you enter through the front door there is a living room on the left with open fire and a corner sofa and separate 2 seater sofa. On the right there is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer and a study. Further down the hallway is a washroom and an open plan kitchen / diner with 3 bar chair and seating at the table for 8 adults and 2 children. There is a family room open to the kitchen with a sofa, piano and lots of games and toys. Outside there is parking for 2 cars at the front and a generous city garden at the rear. Large glass sliding doors open from the kitchen onto the terrace which has a table and chairs for 6 with steps down to the lawn. At the bottom of the garden is a pond, seasaw plane, trampoline and climbing frame which you are welcome to use. The Cam and the University boat houses are less than a minutes walk away. Other things to note The house would ideally suit either 8 adults or 9 people if two are children.
