The space The villa, designed by Popo Danes, one of the most renowned Southeast Asian architects, is characterised by a traditional lay out and huge open spaces. Outdoor living areas The estate sits over a huge 8000 m² of landscaped land bordered by gorgeous rice terraced fields and a small river. Guests can find themselves spending hours wandering through the beautiful and lush garden of the property. The huge and curvy 18 meters infinity swimming pool, fitted with a salt chlorinator system, will also be one of the guests’ favorite spots. Here you’ll be able to unwind in total relax while admiring the breathtaking scenery from one of the sun loungers or from the “floating” traditional balè. Connecting to the pool deck is the teriyaki grill and kitchenette, with tables and chairs, the ideal place where to enjoy amazing alfresco meals. The property boasts also a second plunge pool, which is connected to two of the self-contained bedrooms, and the so-called Sunrise Bridge, a fully equipped yoga pavilion that will also offer you a beautiful breezy spot for dining or relaxing. Indoor living areas The spacious main living room opens up to a huge veranda surrounded by ornamental multi-level fishponds and flanked by two traditional bale, the perfect spot to enjoy the amazing view. The gorgeous interiors are characterised by beautiful traditional art works and feature a comfortable lounge area with rattan furniture, a thick wooden dining table and a spacious open kitchen, equipped with everything you might need. The main house also hosts an air-conditioned media room/library fitted with a large sofa and an home cinema set and there is a closet full of books, magazines and board games. A second living area with dining table and open kitchen is found within two of the suites. The villa also offers an air-conditioned gym, equipped with all you need to stay fit, and a beautiful spa area, which connects two of the suites. Simply ask the staff to arrange for massages and wellness treatments! Bedrooms The villa counts four gorgeous and private bedrooms, all set within self-contained houses and featuring four-poster queen-size beds and TV with DVD players. The suites are named after different locations of the island. The spacious master bedroom is in the Tenganan pavilion and features beautiful furnishings, traditional art works, a private terrace with view and a walk-in wardrobe. The gorgeous ensuite bathroom with shower is connected to the spa room with stone bathtub. Adjoining this space is the the beautiful Klung Kung bedroom, which also boasts an amazing view over the rice fields. The remaining two bedrooms are located on the other side of the garden and are called Ubud and Singaraja. They both share the spring water fed plunge pool and the second open-air living area. The rooms have private verandas and turquoise-tiled bathrooms with rain showers. Staff The property and the guests are looked after by an attentive staff of 14, which includes maids, a driver, a cook and gardeners.
