The village/small town center is an 8 minute drive away (three supermarkets, tourist information center, souvenir shop, bakery, post office, bank, restaurants, clothing stores, health center etc). The nearest supermarket (small one) is just a 5min drive away or 15min on foot. HIGHLIGHTS: Who wouldn't want to enjoy a cup of coffee/tea outside on the balcony while admiring the stunning view of the mountains? It gets so quiet here that you can really enjoy the simple things in life like listening to birds singing in the morning, or listening to crickets at night and watching stars flicker in the night sky. SAUNA - NEW (house in Stara Fužina - 8 min drive away) We are proud to announce that we can now also offer sauna to our guests who stay in this apartment. The sauna is a wonderful addition - access to the sauna is available for an additional fee and is available exclusively for adults and children aged 14 and older. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. SAUNA BOOKINGS: Since the house is still being completed, the sauna (and hot water system) isn’t heated continuously yet. To ensure you have a warm, comfortable, and enjoyable experience, we need time to switch everything on and heat it up properly. A few quick notes: 📅 Booking notice: Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you'd like to use the sauna. We want you to enjoy it as much as we do, and a little notice helps us make that possible! 😊 SURROUNDINGS: Neighbouring village is Srednja vas, where you can find one grocery store (Mercator) and three restaurants: Pri Hrvatu, Ema and Rupa. The next big village center is an 8 minute drive away ( two supermarkets - Mercator & Spar), tourist information center, bank, post office, restaurants and more. We provide FREE bikes, which make the sightseeing and transportation easier and fast (for helmets please visit our local agencies). Hot summer days call for a nice cold scoop of ice cream - don't forget to stop by 'Pri Cukiju' in Ribčev Laz or in Bohinjska Bistrica - best ice cream in Bohinj. APARTMENT: Our apartment of 54m2 features two comfortable bedrooms, thoughtfully arranged to suit families, friends, or group travellers: Bedroom 1 includes a double bed (160x200 cm) and a single bed, ideal for parents with a child or small group. Bedroom 2 offers three single beds, two of which can be pushed together to form a king-size bed (180x200 cm) – flexible and customizable to your sleeping preferences. Both bedrooms are fitted with window blinds and curtains for a restful night’s sleep. The full bathroom is equipped with organic cotton buds, cotton puffs, and body lotion, ensuring a refreshing and eco-conscious experience. Enjoy relaxing in the cozy living room, and take advantage of the well-equipped kitchenette to prepare delicious meals. The kitchenette includes: Toaster, oven, kettle, and all essential cooking utensils. Basic groceries: salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, tea, oil, vinegar. A variety of herbs and seasonings: parsley, chives, cinnamon, oregano, basil, and all-purpose seasoning. Whether you're here for a short stay or a longer getaway, everything you need is right at your fingertips for a comfortable and memorable experience. USEFUL INFORMATION: Please help us save the environment - drink tap water and save money at the same time. Tap water in Bohinj is drinkable. Our guests, who spend at least two nights in Bohinj, are eligible to buy the Julian Alps Card. You can buy the card in the tourist information center (TIC) in Stara Fužina. Buying this card offers: - many discounts - free bus service - free entrance tickets - free parking Guest access There is FREE parking outside the house where there are three parking spots. Please follow the white lines when parking your car. We kindly ask that whoever comes first, parks the car on the 1st parking spot (next to the garden), so the other guests have it easy to park the other car! Please follow these rules. Thank you! There is a bike hangar with a lock for storing bikes, sun loungers, even skis. FREE mountain bikes available during your stay. Feel free to use the garden furniture outside where you will also find an egg chair. Two lounge chairs also available - for hot summer days. Other things to note The tourist tax regulations for Slovenia: We are required to inform our local police station of all our guests.
