Ideal for short stays, whether visiting for a course, internship, or working remotely as a digital nomad. Cosy, bright, comfortable medium-large single room with storage and desk; shared kitchen and bathroom. Very close to bus routes for Sussex University, Brighton & Hove, and a short drive to the South Downs. Grocery shops and cafés nearby. Just 10-minute’ walk to the North Laines and central Brighton, and 20 minutes walk to the seafront and train station. Female guests only. The space The Room is a standard double with a single bed, storage, desk and plenty of space to work. It is very light and comfortable Guest access Guests have access to the shared kitchen & bathroom. During your stay My home is welcoming and quiet, giving you space to relax and enjoy privacy with no expectation to interact. You’re free to come and go as you please, and I’m happy to offer advice or share a cup of tea if the moment feels right. Other things to note You will be sharing my home with just myself, your host, which is why I am more comfortable with female guests only. For longer stays (2 weeks+), you are welcome to use the washing machine to wash clothes, but since I don't have a garden or clothes dryer, I request that clothes be dried at the local launderette, just a few minutes' walk away. The kitchen is available just for cooking only, and I appreciate any work, phone calls, etc., being made in your bedroom. I may occasionally be away for a few nights or over the weekend during longer stays, so you will need to feel comfortable potentially staying in my home alone.
