Description

This is an entire, fully independent, cosy 1 BHK apartment in Purba Diganta area of South Calcutta off EM Bypass. Enjoy complete privacy with no one to share with during your stay. Clean and quiet neighbourhood, yet superbly located next to Jadavpur Stadium and very close to EM Bypass, one of Kolkata's busiest thoroughfares. Markets and hospitals (RTIICS, Sankara Netralaya, AMRI, Medica) are close by. Only 3 minutes walk from the nearest bus stand. The space Enjoy your visit to Calcutta with a peaceful stay at this cosy little apartment in a residential neighbourhood just off the EM Bypass in Santoshpur. Complete with all amenities you may need, the apartment is on the ground floor, safe and secure. The apartment complex shares its wall with Kishore Bharati Stadium, which has been renovated to meet international standards for hosting football matches. Just off the entrance is one of the gates to the Stadium. We provide coffee and biscuits. There's a toaster, hot plate and microwave as well as pans, so you can cook light meals here. Or, if you’d like, get your meals by ordering online from service providers like Swiggy, Zomato, and others. We live close by and are there to help if you need anything at all :) You can also go up to the terrace, which has an unobstructed view around. It's breezy and pleasant especially in the evenings! Guest access The apartment is a two-minute walk from EM Bypass (NH-34), the main highway of the city – it connects north and south Calcutta and is an easy, albeit slightly lengthy ride from the airport. From here you will get buses, cabs, share tuk-tuks and also cycle rickshaws to nearby places. There’s a grocery store down the lane and a small shopping cloister with food stalls, salons, liquor stores, ATMs, medical stores, groceries, etc. about ten minutes away by foot. The nearest supermarket (Spencers) is less than a mile away, while the nearest mall is Acropolis, 1.5 miles away. Both are accessible by Ubers, cabs, share tuk-tuks and buses from the Bypass. A Metro link is being constructed over the Bypass here, and across the Bypass from our neighbourhood are two world-class hospitals – Medica and AMRI. It’s a busy area with traffic flowing late into the night, but the noise does not filter into the lanes. The nearest currently functioning Metro Station is Shahid Khudiram at Dhalai Bridge, a two-mile bus ride straight down southwards – the metro is the fastest and most hassle-free way to get to central city. Other things to note We provide free high-speed Wifi with unlimited data transfer. However, for even higher connectivity speed from 100 Mbps upward, guests may share the extra cost for stays up to 30 days. There's a dhobi nearby if you want to get your clothes washed, or a laundry service that offers pickup and drop.
