The Lookout - boutique mountain hideaway

The Lookout is a boutique mountain hideaway situated high on the hill with unrivaled panoramic views of the lake and mountains. Designed and built by the owners – this cosy getaway provides a perfect place to relax and connect with nature. The spacious, sunny and private chalet has large glass doors that open to a wide deck with breathtaking views and a patio with a luxurious double bath. With minimal town lights, this makes a perfect site for stargazing of the Milky Way. 5 min drive to Wanaka The space The Lookout Mountain Hideaway is a welcoming and cosy open plan living with an ensuite bathroom. Décor has been designed with flair and features stylish Danish design and handcrafted bespoke joinery. The sunny warm room has a comfortable queen size bed and sofabed. When you wake in the morning, you can enjoy spectacular views from your bed while enjoying a tea or coffee. Outside are a private deck and a patio area with a two-person bath to relax and soak up the breathtaking views. The Chalet is 40m2 with ensuite bathroom and seperate tea kitchen, fridge, toaster, microwave, outside Weber BBQ to make breakfast and a basic meals. The Lookout has a heatpump/ air-condition to stay cosy all times of the year and a smart TV with access to Neon TV, Netflix etc. We are close to Wanaka township (5 minutes drive) and with walks and mountain bike track on your doorstep. Guest access You have private and exclusive access to the whole chalet, ensuite a surrounding deck and a patio with a 2- person bath. There is a private entrance and access from your carpark. Other things to note There is a short walk up a staircase and along a native garden path from the carpark to The Lookout Chalet. Flat shoes will make this more comfortable for you.
