The space Set in the heart of Novigrad’s pedestrian old town, an ancient fishing village by the sea, this apartment offers a stay full of charm and atmosphere. The private courtyard opens onto the old medieval walls that once protected the town, giving the outdoor space a truly special and authentic feel. We restored the apartment ourselves with care, using local materials and Istrian stone details to create a home that feels simple, calm and easy to enjoy. It is especially well suited to families with young children and includes helpful extras such as a high chair, travel cot and lightweight stroller. The kitchen is fully equipped for a relaxed holiday, with refrigerator, induction hob, microwave, moka pot, kettle, toaster, pots, dishes and tableware. Everything is there for slow breakfasts, simple lunches and easy dinners to enjoy outdoors. For comfort throughout the seasons, the apartment has air conditioning for summer and a heat pump for the milder months. Wi-Fi is available throughout. Outside, the private courtyard is a sheltered space where you can leave your bikes, let children play, enjoy meals in the open air or simply unwind in the evening. There is also an outdoor table and a fireplace for barbecues. In this home, we made a conscious choice not to include a TV. We wanted to create more space for quiet, conversation and time together, so your holiday can feel slower, lighter and more meaningful. After the sea, a walk through the old town or dinner in the courtyard, the real luxury here is simply slowing down. For your evenings, you will find a few easy alternatives such as books, cards and games to enjoy as a family. Guest access Your arrival is designed to be simple and stress-free. A few days before check-in, we will send you all the information you need to access the apartment independently. Inside, you will find the keys on the table. Other things to note Check-in is available from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 9:00 AM, allowing us the time to prepare the apartment with care for the guests arriving after you. As the apartment is located in Novigrad’s pedestrianised historic centre, private parking is not available. However, you can easily drive up to the property to unload and load your luggage. The parking area is just a short walk outside the pedestrian zone, and before your arrival we will send you all the details you need to make everything easy and pleasant.
