Cueva Encantada

Welcome to Cueva Encantada! Our traditional Spanish Cave house offers a light, bright great room with fireplace and kitchen, three cosy double bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower. Stay inside and enjoy the year-round comfort and peace of a cave house, or enjoy the outdoor covered terrace with views over the village of Galera and the mountains beyond. We believe you will love our cave house as much as we do. The space The whole house is yours. You'll find very few distractions to interrupt your relaxation, other than the excellent Internet connection, provided free via wifi. There's almost no traffic, and the neighborhood is secluded. That said, it's a ten minute walk down to the village which has restaurants, cafés, and bakeries and a short drive to the larger towns of Huescar and Baza. Guest access In Galera, you'll find its lovely museum of local history, the Necropolis, the village church, and many walking/hiking routes. Just 15 minutes drive from Galera: The village of Orce offers a delightful natural swimming pool, complete with fish, the Alcazaba of the Seven Towers, and the Josep Gibert-First Peoples Interpretive Center. A bit further afield: The river walk in Castril is amazing as are the Negratin Reservoir, and the many sights of Baza. Other things to note The village is a ten-minute walk from our house downhill. The walk from the village to our house takes a bit longer as it is uphill.
