No 96 Chapel Lane is an 160 year old 1 bedroom, self contained cottage annexed to our house, nestled in the picturesque village of Butleigh. It is ideally situated for exploring the Somerset Levels, Glastonbury, Wells &Clark's Village in Street. We are also well placed to welcome those wishing to visit schools in the area including Millfield and Wells Cathedral. 10 mins from the A303 & 25 mins from the M5 we are a convenient stopping off point for those on a longer journey further west. The space The cottage is a newly decorated, self contained cottage and provides guests with everything they need for a short stay or longer break. The accommodation comprises of four rooms - kitchen, bathroom with walk in shower, lounge-diner with wifi, tv/dvd, and iplayer. Leading off from this room up a narrow staircase is the double bedroom. Decorated in calming tones of green and cream with a hint of Vintage style. Guest access Guests have a designated parking space on the drive next door to the cottage. There is a local bus service to Street and to Castle Cary and Wincanton but these are limited . There are no buses on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Other things to note Please note that this is a self-catering listing so we do not provide breakfast but there is a shop and farm shop in the village.
