Champion Rest - cosy bed and breakfast - Tamahere

Champion Rest is the perfect spot for rest and relaxation or as base for adventure in the Waikato Region. We’re located in the rural area of Tamahere. Our bespoke studio (built and decorated by Chris and Amanda) is a real little gem. You’ll love enjoying a cuppa in the morning while taking in the view across the gully bank, which we’re restoring with native trees. The bird song makes for a peaceful start to the day. We provide breakfast - tea, coffee, herb tea, toast and spreads and muesli. The space Champion Rest is close to: * Hamilton Airport (six kilometres); * Mystery Creek Event Centre (eight kilometres); *Lake Karapiro (18 kilometres); * Avantidrome (nine kilometres). Cambridge and Hamilton are a 10-minute drive or a lovely bike ride away. There’s lots of opportunity for riding a bike, whether it’s to the café down the road or striking out for a full day of riding. We’re just a short bike ride away from Te Awa River Ride path, which leads to all sorts of great places including the award-winning Hamilton Gardens, the town of Cambridge and Hamilton City.
