The Retreat at Brook Hill cottage

The Retreat is a one bedroom self-contained, peaceful, comfortable and well furnished annex apartment to the ground floor of a large house, located in Donhead St Andrew on the Wiltshire and Dorset border. The property is 4 Miles from Shaftesbury, and 16 miles from the world famous cathedral city of Salisbury. Guest access The apartment can only be reached using a number of steps (43) and sloping paths, however the apartment is all on one level once inside. Private parking for one car on the drive, next to the garage, and close to the steps for access. There is a height limit of 2.2mt for vehicles. Mobile phone signals are a problem within the apartment, however coverage is good in the car park. There is WiFi available, we have a no smoking policy. Well behaved dogs are welcome, however they must be kept on a lead as the house is home to Jess the Cat and Dora the Springer Spaniel. The Garden and decked terrace are available for use, and the views on a clear day are stunning. Again this can only be accessed using a number of steps, and sloping paths as the garden has a number of levels. You are responsible for your own safety using the garden space.
