Old mill

Stari Miln – which translates as Old Mill – is a small family-run hotel with just a few rooms to enable us to offer our guests a home-from-home experience. We aim to treat our guests as we would like to be treated ourselves when we visit friends and relatives. We pride ourselves on being warm, friendly and approachable. Having only recently opened for guests, we’re so keen to meet people from around the world and share stories and of travels and adventures. Having only recently opened for guests, we’re so keen to meet people from around the world and share stories and of travels and adventures. While this is a small business, it is hoped that this venture will also be a source of pleasure and fun for us, and an inspiration for our own future travels. Of course, should you prefer to spend your time alone undisturbed, we will not intrude on your privacy. Our rooms are all newly decorated and fully furnished to a very high standard, they all have en-suite private bathrooms and they offer delightful unobstructed views over the surrounding fields. The grounds of our home are expansive, there are tables and chairs for dining al fresco, a crystal clear stream of pure mountain water runs through our land, and there is plenty of space to just sit around and relax and take in the scenery. We expect that many of our guests will come as they’re looking for inexpensive accommodation which is handy for the world famous Plitvice Lakes nearby, but one tip - you might want to delay booking your following accommodation as you may want to extend your stay with us (if we have availability!) to walk in the surrounding fields and mountains which offer quite breathtaking views. We have plenty of ideas about little known paths and routes you can take where you’ll be able to walk and have an area of outstanding natural beauty entirely to yourselves! We are situated at the end of a private drive in an area which guarantees you peace and tranquility, and a good night’s sleep. The nearby village of Korenica is small but it has all the amenities you might need: a bank with ATM, supermarkets, cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as a tourist information kiosk.
