The 10,000-soul village of Wald is nestled in a picturesque hilly landscape and is an ideal starting point for beautiful hikes, bike and e-bike trips. The village has good shopping facilities (Migros, Coop, Denner) and in the summer the outdoor pool invites you to cool off. Direct bus to Rapperswil (beautiful old town, lake) and Atzmännig (ski and hiking area). About 50 minutes away from Zurich's public transport. The space Cat lovers will feel very comfortable in my cozy apartment. My three longhair cat ladies Sunny, Siri and baby are very gracious and trusting and enjoy petting. My guests are welcome to use my living room, kitchen and garden seating. I am happy to prepare breakfast by arrangement (for a small extra charge). During your stay I am happy to provide information about excursion destinations and sights and am available for questions.
