LE PETIT VORLES

Our house is in the old quarter of the city, near the church of St-Vorles, (10th century) 5 minutes' walk from the city center, restaurants, swimming pool, cinema, theater, 20 minutes from the Vix Vase Museum. Nearby forest, mountain bike rides. We want to meet people, exchange, make the region known. The bedroom, shower, and toilet are private and independent. Free enclosed garage. Next to the bedroom, a small living room. Breakfast included and in season possible in the garden. The space The accommodation is in the heart of the old town since it was part of a set of convent buildings attached to the 10th century feudal castle; it is in this neighborhood just in front of our house that Saint Bernard studied with the canons of Saint-Vorles, the church attached to the castle. This site is very old since the Douix, (fountain) which is right next door, was considered by the Gauls as a healing site. Guest access The house is built on several levels the oldest part dates from around the 16th century; but the comfort is from the 21st century! This is the one you will occupy. We ourselves take care of the second floor overlooking the terraced garden to which you have access as soon as the weather permits to have breakfast which is offered to you. We will have the welcome aperitif either on the 2nd floor or in the garden... and, if you wish, a short tour of the neighborhood with its stairs, vaulted passages and the church of St-Vorles and the towers of the old castle. Other things to note The red sofa cannot be used as a bed, which is why our independent room at the home is made for two people. We can provide you with a baby bed if you come with a baby. We may exceptionally enter the room to work on the heating with your permission. The room does not have a kitchenette. a microwave is available on request.
