Eccleston - Margate Victorian Villa, Spa and Sauna

Eccleston... a large Victorian, early Edwardian villa style property, sitting in almost 2 acres of land on the outskirts of Margate, a stones throw to many beaches, art, culture and restaurants. Visit this spacious, well kept property... a large family get together or groups of friends. The space The house is equipped with an open fireplace, two cosy winter log burners, fibre broadband/wifi, TV, Sky, and Sonos music systems, an indoor sauna, and outdoor hot tub and lovely gardens. This is our family home which is made available on limited occasions throughout the year. It is exceptionally clean and a great house for a get together for the larger groups/families, for short celebrations or longer holidays. There are 6 bedrooms, (5 doubles and 1 twin), 2 of the larger double bedrooms have an additional single bed for family rooms/extra children/larger families etc, 2 large bathrooms, a sauna and shower room/wet room and total of 4 WC's. There is also a large drawing room with an original Victorian fireplace and grand piano, a cosy family lounge /TV room with a large wood burner, a formal dining room, a fully equipped large kitchen and breakfast area, with a large wood burner, gas double range cooker, microwave, hot tap, and all the essentials you could think of along with 3 fridges and 1 freezer. Two utility rooms, and a conservatory/bar. There is a large driveway for up to 6-7 vehicles behind secure gates. The garden is very spacious, ideal for children's games; rounders, badminton, football etc. or adults of course, along with two large patio areas with ample garden furniture ideal for relaxing or dining alfresco style. Whether it's a cosy week away or few days break for family get-togethers, those special occasions to get everyone together or a group of friends heading to Margate or the local beaches, Eccleston will provide you with all the space and privacy you need - a perfect solution. Guest access The whole house as described above is available to our guests. There are 4 additional rooms in this large house which are locked and contain our personal belongings. Other things to note The gardens and land surrounding the property is completely enclosed and very safe. Although in a residential area very close to the town and of course the beach, once inside the grounds you would be forgiven for thinking you are in the countryside, however, guests at the house or in the grounds are restricted to just those that have booked to stay. (Maximim 14) This is not an event hire venue for Weddings or other parties that involve additional people visiting the house during your stay, or music outside the house. The reason this is not suitable for our property is because we are in a residential area, and have our friendly neighbours to consider. Just the number of guests that have booked are able to use the house facilities and the garden. So family and friend get-togethers, birthdays, anniversaries etc, with or without children are perfect. The driveway has secure large electric gates and several external areas of the property covering the grounds and entry doors also benefit from CCTV recording. Westgate town and beach are just a few minutes walk, with supermarkets, butchers, delicatessen, and an old beautiful cinema in the town. The train station is 200 yards away into Margate, easy for taxi and bus travel into Margate, just 5 mins away. Just 6 minutes walk to the beach.
