Midhill Cottage: The Annexe unit

A warm and cosy vintage space - the guest suite includes a private enclosure of a bed room with attached bath, a small living room and a fully equipped kitchenette. This comfortable country home has it's own entry with a patio and opens out into the garden. Mid-Hill Cottage is a heritage family home located in Nongshilliang, a green and peaceful part of town. The space provided is exclusively for few guests only. It is very private and ideal for a small family or Couples. The space A homely setup - One cosy bedroom with a King size bed. An attached bath that includes all the essentials. A cosy living room with wooden furniture, TV, and adorned with simple decor. A kitchenette that includes basic cooking amenities... gas stove, oven, utensils, spices, crockery, glassware etc. A small corner dining space to enjoy meals. Midhill cottage is an old-world charm with well furnished cosy rooms. The house is also known as an Assam Type house or Ikra house. Ikra is a reed locally grown and used extensively in walls making it lightweight. It has an excellent ability to withstand seismic eventualities as North East India region does fall under the earthquake belt. Call it a safe haven if you like! Guest access Guests will have the entire Annexe to themselves. They have a parking space in case they bring a self driven vehicle. The main garden with outdoor furniture /table-chairs to relax , enjoy breakfast or just chill. A Barbeque area to use and enjoy their own meals. During your stay The place has it's own caretaker. You will always be in good hands as I do tend to travel quite a bit. If I'm around, I would be happy to get to know you. However, your privacy will be respected in all manner of speaking, as the guest suite is located at the rear of Cottage and has a separate private entrance from the main house itself. Other things to note I may not be able to provide you with many details outside of the property itself. If you have any questions regarding transportation, places to visit, where to eat etc. I have detailed a house manual for your perusal which is in printed form and you can refer to it. I also prefer to communicate via Whatsapp, whereby I can send you directions and any other details. **IMPORTANT NOTE: Guests with Airbnb reservations hiring tourist taxis are not allowed to park overnight with the driver sleeping in the vehicles, due to security issues. The drivers are requested to find accommodation elsewhere in the town and return next day for pick up.
