Traditional Holiday Cottage in Newport, Pembs.

West View, a traditional cottage, has remained in our family for over 150 years. It has recently been refurbished to a modern standard whilst maintaining the original character and charm. There is a walled courtyard for BBQs and outdoor eating with steps leading up to a cottage garden which catches the evening sun. Located in the heart of Newport with private parking; the cafes, shops, restaurants and the Parrog beach are all within very short walking distance. The space Please note that this cottage is not suitable for those looking for an ultra modern experience. In particular, there may be traces of damp and cobwebs that you will not find in a modern property. This is inevitable in a 200 old cottage. The interiors have been decorated and maintained in a traditional style so that it is in keeping with its character. As a family we work extremely hard to keep our family cottage fresh and comfortable for our guests. We would like to point out that the main bathroom upstairs has no shower, only a bath, basin and toilet. The downstairs en-suite bathroom has a shower. The Space: Ideally sleeps 4 adults and 4 children. However the bedrooms are as follows: Bedroom 1: ground floor double bed with ensuite bathroom (shower, basin, toilet). Bedroom 2: double bed. Bedroom 3: 2 single beds. Bedroom 4: single bed. Bedroom 5: bunk bed. Main Bathroom: bath, toilet, basin. Living room: 2 sofas and an armchair. Open fire with fire guard. Large flat screen television with Sky and Firestick so you can sign into your Amazon account and access your Netflix and Amazon Prime channels as well as other common apps. Wifi. Dining Area: table which seats 8 people. Kitchen: electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, pantry cupboard. Utility Room: washer/dryer machine, drying rack, freezer, wardrobe, laundry bags, travel iron, hurricane vases for candles. Outside Area: picnic table, BBQ, garden, off street parking. Please note, bed linen and towels included, however please bring beach towels with you. Guest access Entire property. Other things to note The garden is enclosed and child friendly but care is needed with very young children and dogs when playing near the garden wall as it isn’t very tall in places. Pets are welcome, we ask that you please keep them downstairs and out of the bedrooms. We have throws and blankets to help protect the sofas from dog hair. Please also clean up after your pet in the garden. Please be aware that our neighbours have the right to use the gravel path at the front of West View in order to access their property. The storage in the downstairs bedroom is minimal however there are drawers under the bed to store clothes in.
