This property is well suited to families or couples looking for a fuss-free getaway in the lovely village of Porlock. Centrally located in the village, you have a great selection of restaurants, pubs, cafes and tea rooms all within easy walking distance. Please note dogs are welcome at the property for £15 each per stay. The space Archways, Porlock (Somerset) consists of a large double bedroom (with king-sized bed), two single bedrooms and family bathroom (shower over bath) upstairs. Downstairs is the well-equipped kitchen and an open-plan dining and sitting room, with rear door leading down a flight of steps to access the private courtyard/garden. Archways is part of a development which was built in the 1990s, therefore benefits from double glazing and modern heating. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, a variety of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. A television and DVD player is provided in the living room and wireless broadband is available throughout the property. There is a high chair and pressure fit stair gate in the property for guests with babies, but sorry there is no cot in this property. Electricity and heating Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Archways is fitted with modern Dimplex heaters in every room that are individually controlled and can be adjusted to suit your preferences. There is also an electric flame-effect fire in the sitting room that can be used to boost the temperature when required. Linen and towels Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips. Other provisions A small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits are provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive. There may also be other non-perishable items like a salt, pepper and a few herbs or spices available. Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid and surface cleaner will be present in the property. One or two toilet rolls will be provided. Outside the property Archways benefits from a private and enclosed garden/courtyard to the rear of the property, which is accessed from the living room down a short flight of steps. Outside table and chairs means you can eat and relax in the privacy of this garden. Parking Off-road parking for one car is available in the car park to the rear of the property. If you have more than one car there is a pay and display car park nearby. Dogs Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement only (maximum of 2; 3 dogs will be considered upon request). A supplementary fee of £15 will be added to your invoice per dog to cover additional cleaning costs. Please do not allow your dogs on the furniture or upstairs and do not leave them alone in the property at any time. Smoking Archways is strictly non-smoking. Arrival and departure The property will be ready from 4 pm on the day of your arrival. Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay. Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests. There is one allocated parking space for Archways. Alternative parking is available in the Pay and Display car park in the village, or there is an honesty box for the village hall car park. which is also nearby.
