Apartment (60 m2) is set in residential building on the second floor without an elevator. Each floor has 18 stairs (10 + 8). That’s a total of 36 stairs. The apartment is ideal for 4 (family, a group of friends or a couple) who will then experience it in a wonderful way. Everything in the apartment is available to our guests and everything is new and modern (please see the section with all the household appliances that our apartment offers). If you are eger to party in the apartment, I'm sorry, but this isn't for you. Guest access If you want a pleasant vacation in a cooled apartment without endless waiting in lines, unbearable crowds, noise and countless stairs like in the Old Town or in Ploče area, this is the place for you! Everything you need for pleasurable holidays is on walking distance about 300 meters: promenade called Lapad Bay that leads to the beaches, tennis courts, children's playground, grosery store, shopping center, bakery, drugstore, green market, post office, ATM, exchange office, bank, pharmacy, Church of St. Michael etc. Next to each other you will see a shopping center, a taxi station, a bus station and the entrance to the promenade. Beaches You can choose way to the beaches (beach with aquapark, sand, pebbly or rock beaches). If you prefer shorter, quiet way, just cross the main road and go straight to the Sunset Beach about 5 - 10 minutes walk. If you want to experience an authentic local feeling or if you just want to enjoy an ice cream, cold drink, breakfast, lunch or dinner in one of the many cafes or restaurants on your way to the Sunset Beach or some other beach, take a walk through the beautiful promenade called Uvala Lapad (Lapad Bay), about 200 meters from the apartment (or 2 - 3 min. walk to the entrance to the promenade). Taxi and bus Across the main road from the apartment you can find taxi station and local bus stations for Old Town. Taxi can be very cheap especially if you share a taxi. The price for a ride to Old Town may be lower than the price of the bus for one family or group of friends (about 5 - 10 Euro). Bus stop is near the apartment, about 200 m away or 2-3 minutes walk. Take a bus number 6. The price of a bus ticket is 1,73 Euro if you buy it in the TISAK newspaper shop (located across the bus stop) or Libertas shop (located on the bus stop). If you buy ticket on the bus then it's 2,50 Euro. Walking If you like walking you can get to any location in Dubrovnik if it's not very hot. The most popular place for seaside walking is the Lapad Bay promenade (two minutes from apartment) which takes you along the very coast of the entire Lapad peninsula along beautiful beaches and with unforgettable sunsets. Another beautiful promenade is scenic walk through the Forest Park Velika and Mala Petka (you can see it from the living room and it will take you two minutes to get to the park entrance). If you want to walk to the Old Town you'll need a 45 minutes easy walk and to the Port and the Main bus station about 20 to 30 minutes, mostly along the sea. You will enjoy (please don't walk from 10 AM to 5 PM if it's very hot)! Parking In front of our building is a soccer field and public paying parking. Behind the building is a free parking with a bad road where mostly tenants park if they can find a place (usually they do). The price of public paying parking from May to November from 06:00 to 22:00 when parking is charged is range from 1,33 Euro per hour, 17,30 Euro per day, 53,10 Euro per week etc. If you come by scooter or motorcycle you can park for free in front of the building. Note: on the paying parking there are two spots where you can pick up vehicle in car sharing, pay only when you use the vehicle and park on reserved spot just near the entrance to the Old Town (Parking Žičara on Buža gate or Ploče gate). This solves the parking problem during a visit to the Old Town and it is in line with the City policy "Respect the City" - managing tourism in a sustainable way. Other things to note We also approve special offers for longer stays (30 days and longer), so please contact us for an agreement. On request we provide a travel cot for babies, stroller, feeding chair, baby bath, children's chair for toilet etc. Welcome!
