Description
Newly renovated luxury retreat with a beautiful oak balcony in a stunning edge of village location on Bredon Hill AONB. Direct access to footpaths/bridleways with a secure garden, and a saunter to the pub. Superbly equipped kitchen, open plan living with smart TV, superfast wifi & logburner plus lovely inside/outside dining spaces. Two sumptuous bedrooms, Hypnos mattresses, 600TC Egyptian cotton linen & both ensuites have 1.2M showers to spoil & revive you. Well behaved pets by arrangement. The space Our Hay barn was converted from the lovely original oak framed building into a very comfortable home-from-home space. It was architect designed and painstakingly renovated using ecological methods, green oak and high quality fittings throughout, creating a warm, luxury retreat. An open plan kitchen/dining/living space is great for socializing with family and friends with a comfortable seating area around the cosy woodburner and uninterrupted views of the gardens and orchard. The kitchen is superbly appointed with large fridge freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, hob, oven, separate microwave, Dualit appliances and a Nespresso coffee machine (standard pods) for real coffee lovers. We have used a mix of antiques and high quality furniture to create a tranquil and comfortable space – but with superfast broadband, smart TV and plenty of USB sockets throughout providing the technology for modern day life. There are quiet corners and even somewhere where you can work (if you really have to). Two charming and supremely comfortable bedrooms with Hypnos mattresses and 600tc Egyptian cotton linen. The downstairs bedroom can be configured as a superking or two 3ft singles by prior arrangement. Both offer ensuite bathrooms with huge 1.2m showers with jumbo fluffy towels and complimentary shower gel and shampoo. (The upstairs en-suite due to the roofline has a sloping ceiling access & really tall guests would find the downstairs shower more suitable). The downstairs bedroom and en suite floor is totally flat, really great for those with accessibility issues - or just wanting to stay on one floor. Outside there are recliners, a charcoal BBQ, outside dining area, and even a herb garden. Guests are welcome to use the orchard, sit on the bench and watch the wildlife. For walkers, there is a purpose built boot rack and outside hot/cold water taps to wash off boots and dogs after a long walk. Throughout the barn wherever possible we have used local products and luxury fittings provide a real retreat with even a luxury welcome hamper which will be waiting for you on your arrival. We are happy to accommodate well-behaved dogs by separate arrangement, and can provide bike storage, dog sitting and babysitting is available if required by arrangement– we look forward to welcoming you soon! (We live in the main house across the courtyard, the barn is totally separate and not overlooked with private, enclosed garden and uninterrupted views to the paddock) Guest access The whole barn and private garden are available to guests along with access to the paddock and parking. ( polite request - No additional guests without prior arrangement) Other things to note Dog rules We love dogs and want to welcome well behaved ones to the barn. However we want to ensure that the barn remains beautiful for all our guests. - dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture - muddy dogs need to be washed off (hot and cold taps outside and wash area) and dried. - no dogs to be left in the barn or the garden if guests are out (we can offer a dog sitting service by arrangement) - any damage or additional laundry/cleaning will sadly have to be charged for and a minimal charge for the extra cleaning involved of £20 per stay will be applied. - all dog mess to be cleared up We want to offer luxury accommodation for dog owners and appreciate your acceptance of these rules on booking. Thank you
