Holiday home Saussignac is part of a former 18th century warehouse for wine and tobacco. This holiday home faces south on the Dordogne river From Les Magnolias it is less than a 10-minute walk to the central square of the typical bastide town of Lalinde. You will find the bakery, the butcher, a tourist office, a pleasant shopping street and old village center, supermarkets, banks and restaurants and cafes with terraces, bicycle rental at 400 meters and the weekly Thursday morning market. The space Holiday home Saussignac is part of a former 18th century wine and tobacco warehouse. The warehouse was supplied from the nearby harbor by Gabarres (= traditional Dordogne flat-bottomed boat). This holiday home is south-facing on the Dordogne River and consists of a separate living room with “open kitchen” and two bedrooms with clean and ironed sheets. There is a bedroom with 2 x single bed (0.90 x 1.90 meters) and a master bedroom with a comfortable double bed (1.60 x 2.00 meters). The living room and the master bedroom offer a magnificent view of the Dordogne river. This holiday home has a spacious living room with heating, a fully equipped kitchen including washing machine, iron, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, oven, small freezer and refrigerator. Cutlery, crockery, coffee maker, kettle and plenty of other kitchen utensils are of course available. SMART TV HD with extensive channel package via satellite available. So you can also watch your own TV and film subscription(s) such as Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and Netflix. WIFI based on fiber optic connection is available in the entire accommodation. With the fresh products that you buy in the supermarket across the street, you can enjoy cooking in your own holiday home. The salon has a sofa, two comfortable armchairs and a dining table with 4 chairs. A luxurious bathroom with bath, rain shower and bathroom furniture with sink and a separate toilet complete the picture. Through the hallway you have access to a large private sun terrace (50m2) with garden furniture in the park with a beatiful view on the mansion. This holiday home is ideal for 2 adults or 2 adults with 2 children. So space for a maximum of 4 people. On request, a cot and/or high chair can be placed in the salon at an additional cost. An electric barbecue is available on request. Guest access Our domain is located on the edge of the bastide Lalinde in an authentic setting where time seems to have stood still. Once you enter by the big gate, you are in our fully enclosed park with beautiful old magnolia, cedar and oak trees. You will find many seating areas in the sun or in the shade. You can ,after you have checked in at the reception, park your car in our private parking for guests. The swimming pool (17 x 7 m) has  a lovely view of the river, it has extensive terraces and is surrounded by palm and olive trees. The pool is filled with water from our own source. It is a unique oasis of peace. Behind the swimming pool you will find a terrace with lounge corner and bamboebar. Relax and enjoy the beautiful view with a good book or a drink. Luxury lounge chairs with umbrellas  complete the picture. Other things to note A security deposit/security deposit of €100 is required and must be paid in cash on arrival. The deposit will be returned on departure if the holiday home is left in good condition. Guests can charge their electric vehicles in Lalinde. WIFI based on fiber optic connection is available in the entire accommodation.
