CAMP Dakao is a reimagined version of a traditional Saigonese townhouse, spread across three floors with a total of five thoughtfully designed bedrooms. Each room comes with its own private bath and toilet, and we've equipped every bed with firm premium mattresses wrapped in 400 thread, 30% silk and cotton mix soft linen. Tucked away in a quiet alley, we're just thirty seconds away from bustling cafes, restaurants, and street food stalls, and a leisurely fifteen-minute stroll from the Notre Dame Cathedral and Independence Palace. Our community spaces are located on the ground floor, and they're yours to enjoy. Whether you want to read in the living room, cook in the kitchen, or binge-watch your favorite TV shows on our Netflix and Chromecast-enabled TV, we've got you covered. And if you're in the mood for some fresh air, head up to our rooftop garden for a cup of morning tea and a cigarette. Our five bedrooms are each unique in their design and inspiration, with names like Kar-Wai's Studio, Sontag's Studio, The Poet Suite, The Time Machine, and The Watch Tower. YOUR ROOM: Kar Wai's The room will be on the second floor, outlooks the front of the building. There's a super comfy queen size bed, old reclaimed Vietnamese furniture placed in the calming back drop of the green walls. The room is equipped with a quirky phonebooth toilet and semi open bathtub/shower redesigned from the balcony. Guest access The entire ground floor is dedicated to community space. Please feel free to hang and spend time reading in the living room and cooking your own foods in the kitchen. On the rooftop we also have a small garden where you can have your morning tea while contemplating with a cigarette. During your stay Your privacy is well respected by us. However, we'd love to share stories and thoughtful tips. I live near-by so i'd love to drop by sometimes to have a chat with you. Viet, our manager is around most of the time and he's the guy who's willing guide you to the cool stuffs that happening in city. Other things to note Please don't smoke in the room. You can smoke in the front yard or the rooftop garden.
