It has been declared an Artistic Historical Site and is included in the Network of "The most beautiful villages in Spain". The central position in which it is located allows for stunning views. Therefore, on clear days it is possible to see the Mediterranean and Sierra Nevada at the same time from the same point. Guest access The population has a great architectural wealth: various streets and houses were built by the Arabs and, subsequently, preserved by the inhabitants of the village; the fountains are common, which can be found on any street and the houses are characterized by fireplaces and the absence of rooftops. You can hike in centuries-old chestnut trees, horseback riding, sports (soccer, basketball, paddle tennis...) in addition to visiting our museum "Casa Alpujarreña" and our Church from the 16th century. Upon arrival you will find a first load of wood gift from the house, but if you need more you can buy it nearby.
