The property is character filled offering luxury accommodation with either 2 Super King or 4 Single beds. We offer a lovely combination of traditional, Chalet features and chic touches such as Egyptian cotton linen, sumptuous duvets, fully equipped kitchen and private bathrooms. The space OVERVIEW Chalet Pitu is positioned right in the centre of the beautiful, traditional and particularly quaint village of Venosc sitting at 1007 metres above sea level. The location is superb offering easy access from the free car park to restaurants, bars, boutique shops and artisan works all within a few minutes walk. If you are keen on fresh, mountain water then you’ll love that the spring fountain is directly in front of the Chalet. The property is a character filled, historical stone animal barn that has been very recently and carefully restored to a high standard. We offer luxury accommodation with a lovely combination of traditional, Chalet features and chic touches accommodating for 4 adults. The gondola is a 5 minute stroll from the Chalet and will take you directly to Les Deux Alpes in 6.5 minutes, which has the largest skiable glacier in Europe. The peak is 3,600 metres above sea level providing a snow sure place to ski and has 222km of pistes made up largely of long, open runs. Les Deux Alpes is France's second oldest ski resort behind Chamonix; the home of Mont Blanc. OUR BEDROOMS What makes us a little different is we believe in a touch of luxury which can hopefully only add to the enjoyment and comfort of your stay. We offer 2 accommodation experiences, The Vault and also Lumiere. ​Whether you're on the slopes all day, hiking or reading a fabulous book, we all love a comfortable bed and a good night's sleep. Our beds are 5 star quality in both design and construction and our mattresses are also of a superior standard. We have chosen Egyptian cotton for both our linen and our range of towels, including our king size bath sheets. Our pillows are plump and soft and our duvets are full of soft Down. Both our rooms are double sized bedrooms which allows for a super king sized bed or two very comfortable single beds. THE VAULT The Vault offers a fabulous accommodation experience either set as a super king bed or 2 singles. We have tried to maintain as many of the original features of this cattle barn as possible and it dates back almost 300 years. The vaulted ceiling is unique, visually interesting and reflective of the era. The cattle feeding grate and feeding shaft are the window in this room plus there's the original metal hook suspended from the ceiling. The bathroom is siutated within The Vault and offers a classic, free standing bath. A lovely, relaxing experience after a big day in our out. LUMIERE Lumiere is a bright, light room with 2 outside facing windows and a glass door that leads to a small, Juliette balcony. It has a beautiful view of the mountains of which you can see from the moment you wake in your bed. The decor offers an artistic, grey and white paint finish, wooden floors, cow hide rug, leather sofa, feather cushions and a chandelier or two for a touch of chic. Our linen is all 100% Egyptian cotton, as are our towels in both standard and king size. The private bathroom for Lumiere is located in the landing just outside the door and there is also a seperate WC.
