Welcome to your cozy alpine retreat in Zgornje Jezersko. The cabin offers privacy yet sits in the heart of a charming alpine village. You’ll have fast fiber-optic internet and strong Wi-Fi. Small but mighty - ideal for two adults or a family with kids. For four adults it can feel tight. The space The Idyllic Cottage is a small, two-level, cozy alpine cabin, best suited for two adults, or a family with children. While it can technically accommodate up to four guests, the space can feel tight for four adults, especially during longer stays. Layout & Comfort On the ground floor, you’ll find a cozy living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, a bathroom, and direct access to the garden and terrace. The outdoor area comes with a dining table, BBQ, and summer lounge chairs… Upstairs, the master bedroom features a king-size bed and a private balcony with lovely views of the surrounding peaks. Please note, the stairs to the bedroom are steep. For extra guests, there’s a queen-size sofa bed in the living room. Warm & Snug All Year The cabin is centrally heated, but you’re welcome to use the closed fireplace in the living room during colder months. When done right, it keeps the space warm and cozy long into the night. During winter, the cabin is pre-heated before your arrival, ensuring a warm welcome. Dining & Local Flavors You’ll find three great dining options within walking distance: • Pizzeria Kočna – A casual spot with great views and coffee • Restaurant Planinka – A Michelin-star mentioned restaurant offering fine dining • Lakeside Restaurant – Perfect for a relaxed meal by the water Prefer to cook? A local grocery store is open six days a week, just a 5-minute walk from the cabin. Explore the Outdoors With trails for all levels, from easy walks to advanced alpine climbs, this area is a hiker’s dream. In winter, enjoy cross-country skiing and sledding nearby, or visit Krvavec ski resort, just 45 minutes away by car. Getting Around The bus stop, only a 5-minute walk away, offers easy connections to Kranj and from there to Ljubljana. By car, popular destinations are within reach: • Lake Bled – 1 hr • Kranjska Gora – 2 hrs • Postojna Cave – 1.5 hrs Plus, Austria is just a 10-minute drive away! Electric Vehicle Charging For guests with electric vehicles, there is an EV charging station available in the village, near the petrol station.
