Vacation home "Chestnut" with balcony

The apartment has 2.5 rooms, is about 60 square meters and can accommodate up to 3 people who like open, bright living. The built-in kitchen is brand new. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub and invites you to relax after a day of hiking or skiing. A highlight is the balcony. You look at the chestnut avenue that gave the apartment its name. The space The apartment is bright and open. The view of the large chestnut trees is beautiful. One bedroom with a comfortable box-spring bed (1.80 x 2 m) and a single bed (0.90 m x 2.00 m) and a living room with a cozy couch offer space for the time out. You can eat or work in the veranda. There are doors to the hallway. The bedroom and living room are connected by the veranda (1/2 room) and separated only by a curtain. The apartment is suitable for a couple or a young family with a child. Guest access The apartment is on the 1st floor of a beautiful Art Nouveau house (built in 1911) and has its own closed apartment door. You share the house entrance and the staircase with me and other guests. There is parking behind the house. In front of the house is a large terrace with a grill, which is popular with guests. Other things to note In the house there are five apartments and a practice. Three of the apartments are rented as vacation rentals. In addition to the "Chestnut" there is also "Wurmberg View" for a family of three to four and the "Swallow's Nest" under the roof for up to 6 people. It is an old house built in "Harzer Holzbauweise" and therefore somewhat light-sounding. We all try to live happily while still being considerate of others. Sometimes you hear something about the lives of the neighbors. I ask that you be considerate, especially in the stairwell. The city of Braunlage has charged a guest fee of €2.80 per adult/night since 01/01/2020. This fee must be paid in cash upon arrival. There is a guest card for this, with which there are some discounts and free public transport can be used throughout the Harz area (HATIX). There is a possibility to check in contactlessly via a key safe.
