Horas Family Home on Lake Toba, Samosir

The Family Home is a fully furnished and equipped two storey Batak villa on the South Bay of Lake Toba in Tuk Tuk, Samosir, with organic fruit and vegetable garden, orchid garden, rabbits, small sand beach, free kayaking, fishing, boating, WIFI. The space We provide a fully equipped home directly on Lake Toba especially targeting a group of friends or a families with children. The home comes with an organic vegetable garden and an extensive orchid, cacti and succulent collection, fishpond and a private terrace directly on the Lake. Activities for the smaller ones include building dikes and sandcastles on our small sand beach, becoming friends with our pets, help us feeding the rabbits. Starting from an age of 6 catching the catch of the day in our fishpond is a major experience especially when followed by frying and eating the fish. Teenagers like to dive from our diving board and take our kayak or family boat out on the Lake. The elderly just enjoy the weather, the scenery and relax combined with sometimes watching a movie or reading a book. The home itself comfortably sleeps 8 adult guests + children, but we can comfortably accommodate groups up to 20 guests. Guest access Our guests have access to all public areas around the house on our premises. This especially includes our terrace at the Lake, children playground and vegetable and orchid garden. The guests may have to share with other guests free use of organic produce from our garden, free use of our kayak and family boat, the fishing rods, life vests and tubes. Off limits are the use of drugs at our premises, excluded are tobacco and alcohol. We will also appreciate guests not running around outside the home, sunbathing or skinny dipping into the Lake in complete natural conditions. Excluded are extremely beautiful young ladies in the age of 19 to 23 and children up to an age of 4 or 5 years. Children up to an age of 4 or 5 will always be ok, whether the ladies qualify will be determined after close inspection, discussion and deliberation by our ad-hoc balloting commission which will consist of a fair representation of all our male staff, foreign and local. The final decision which will be binding and not open for appeal will be made by and at the sole discretion of the Management.
