Shepherds Hut in the Brecon Beacons National Park

My place is close to Waterfalls, caves and mountains with fantastic walking. It is just a 2 minute walk from Porth Yr Ogof Caves, and 2 minutes from the start famous Four Waterfalls Walk. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the cosiness, the kitchen and the stunning location. My place is great for couples. The property is a larger than average shepherds hut (21 feet long) with electric heater ,log burner and it is insulated with lambs wool. This is Glamping at it's best! The space The hut is warm and cosy with a very comfortable king size bed . Guest access Guests will enjoy their own little piece of paradise in this beautifully designed shepherds hut. Off street parking is provided, and your very own deck and garden area within the Brecon Beacons National Park. During your stay We like to give our guests space and privacy but we live in white farmhouse opposite and are very happy to meet guests and help in anyway we can if required. Other things to note Please note there is a very short walk across a field to reach the hut .the parking is on hard standing just inside the gate to the left . If staying during winter or arriving in the dark please bring a torch . We do supply some kindling and logs if you require additional there is a charge of £7.50 for a basket of logs and kindling . There are numerous walks right on the doorstep so no need to get in the car . The car park for Pen Y Fan ( the highest peak in South Wales ) is a 15 minute drive . Also within easy driving distance is the market town of Brecon (18 miles) and the lakes Lyn Y Fan Fawr and Lyn Y Fan Fach which were featured on secret Britain. The city of Swansea is a half hour drive and Cardiff forty minute drive . The famous Porth Yr Ogof caves are a two minute walk as is the start of the waterfall walks, one of which Sgwd Yr Eira you can walk behind.
