Airy, converted stables with luxurious accommodation ideal for a couple or with baby. Large bedroom/sitting room, king size bed & luxury ensuite bathroom, towels and toiletries. Outside comfortable covered seating area, cooking area with beautiful views, chiminea. 3 acre Paddock attached. Inside fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, TV with DVD. Set in private grounds. 1.5 miles from Hay-on-Wye in a rural yet accessible area for all year round breaks. Private parking. Dogs welcome (see conditions) The space Newly converted stable block, quiet and peaceful, away from the main house, only a mile or so from the Town of Books; ideal for walking, cycling, riding or just relaxing. Sole use of converted stables over my private bridge. The Stables are set within 6 acres of private grounds with a beautiful trout stream running through and views to the mountains. If you like cooking outdoors but under cover, protected from the weather there is a gas stove and grill, air-fryer, BBQ plus sink with hot and cold water and views of the mountains and hills while you cook. Comfy sofa and chairs outdoors under cover leading to spacious bedroom and living area, sofa and a warm electric log fire with a large ensuite bathroom with both bath and shower. There is a TV with built-in DVD (good collection of DVD's, but unfortunately no Freeview signal at moment), although there is a separate WiFi hub. Happy to welcome maximum of 2 friendly dogs at an additional charge of £10 per dog per booking. Dogs must be sociable to other dogs, we have a lovely friendly spaniel who always comes to say hello and give you a tour. Guest access Sole and exclusive use of the accommodation which is our only holiday rental. All garden areas and grounds are yours to explore. Great access to beautiful walks directly from the property. Suitable for cycling (bicycles available if required), walking, riding plus an opportunity to bring your own horse to the paddock at an additional cost. Friendly and sociable dogs (max 2) welcome at an additional charge of £10 per dog per booking. Dogs must be friendly towards other dogs as we have 1 (very sociable) spaniel here Other things to note We have a very friendly spaniel who welcomes other sociable dogs. Dogs must be kept on leads if walking in fields with livestock. I ask for additional fee of £10 per dog per stay to cover the extra time to clean the stables. Payable in cash on arrival/departure as it’s not currently able to be added through Airbnb when booking.
