Karingal Cabin Retreat

This secluded cabin is the perfect retreat for a single, couple, or a family looking to 'switch off' from the daily grind. There is a grassed camping area right next to the cabin for the kids to sleep in tents, while mum and dad can relax comfortably in Karingal Cabin. Kids stay free when you bring your own tents. We are 5 mins drive from the tourist & fishing village of Yeppoon. We are 190 metres above sea level and boast views north towards the Byfield Ranges and East over the Keppel Isles. The space Located on the slopes of Mt. Barmoya, 3 kms north of the tourist and fishing village of Yeppoon. Karingal Cabin is 20 metres from the single-room main dwelling and backs onto our tropical rainforest. Guest access *Great Keppel Island is 20 mins via the daily ferry from the Rosslyn Bay Harbour. *Fishing Charters operate from Rosslyn Bay Harbour. *Coorana Crocodile Farm. *Byfield National Park. *Nob Creek Pottery *Our beach esplanade is one of the newest redevelopments in Queensland. *Rockhampton is 30 mins drive and is the Beef Capital of Australia with many tourist attractions including the new riverbank precinct. *Boutique Markets every weekend in Yeppoon and surrounding areas. Other things to note Karingal Cabin is a stand alone, fully self-contained retreat. But guests are welcome to use the BBQ on the patio of the main dwelling.
