Craighaven, Tiny House Isle of Skye

Craighaven is a modern self catering studio designed to have all the conveniences of home on a small scale. It is a detached building in the grounds of our home located in Fiscavaig with beautiful mountain & loch views over the bay. The area benefits from pub serving food, cafes, a community shop, post office & the famous Talisker Distillery. In the Minginish area we are an ideal central base for exploring both the North & South of the Island. 10% off weekly stays. The space Craighaven has a fully equiped kitchen including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, slow cooker. There are bluetooth ceiling speakers for your own smart device. There is a smartTV with Freesat, Amazon prime & iplayer (logins provided). Netflix app for your own login. Also a dvd player with a good selection of DVDs provided. The bookcase has lots of Skye related reading and games for your downtime. We also provide an iron, hairdryer, bedding, towels, toiletries, a variety of tea/ coffee/milk, shortbread and some basics in the food cupboard. Wireless internet is provided. The new separate Boot Room with washer makes a great useful facility for longer stays. Guest access Our seperate front garden is fenced and guests will have exclusive use of this during their stay, perfect for watching beautiful sunsets and ideal for four legged visitors too. There's a picnic bench, portable BBQ and a washing line for your own use. Closer to the studio but a separate building is The Boot Room, a new facility which is a fantastic addition making the studio suitable for longer stays. In here there's a washer, a freezer, an airer, dog/ beach towels, plus more games, fiction books, camping chairs, disposable BBQ. It's perfect for storing all that extra stuff!
