“An ALfaMA Portuguese house”
Description
A very cozy apartment with interesting architectural features, and very well situated. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other, which complements the first, has no bed, so it is only for two people sharing the same bed. The space - It's an apartment in a 200-year-old building with details that embellish it. The apartment was completely restored by me 16 years ago, and I tried whenever possible to maintain its original features. It has very thick exterior walls, which allows for a built-in wardrobe in one of the bedrooms and an inlaid washbasin in the bathroom. Wooden ceiling and floor, the door and windows have handmade iron fittings. The kitchen has a chimney with a stone mantelpiece where the stove is. The decoration, done with affection and dedication, contains some furniture and objects designed by me. The whole house is equipped with everything I consider important for those who are in it to feel at home. Guest access - The apartment was my first home in Alfama, where I lived for a few years. I decided to leave almost everything that belonged to me in it, in order to be able to convey to those who use it a feeling of being in an environment with character and uniqueness. In it, the tourist has access to books, music, a sound system and internet. Other things to note I would like to inform that during the check in I need to collect the following information about you and the other guest(s): - Full Name; - Birthdate and Birthplace; - Nacionality; - Place and country of residence; - ID Document number; - Document Type; - Issuing country of the ID Document. According to our Immigration and Borders Service (SEF), «this information is required to all foreign citizens, whether they are from Member States of the European Union or Third Country Nationals. This obligation falls on companies exploiting hotel establishments, complementary means of tourist accommodation and tourist complexes, as well as on those which provide, for consideration, the accommodation to foreigner’s citizens.» Registration Details 25418/AL
