Located in the heart of the Rossendale Valley, Rossendale Holiday Cottages offer the ideal spot for guests to enjoy the Lancashire countryside, offering a relaxing retreat for all guests who enjoy a bit of rural living. Ideal for businesspersons travelling to Burnley, who wish to self-cater. Beautiful outdoor spaces to BBQ and star gaze are available for all guests to enjoy. Excellent friendly staff, on hand to help, to provide breakfast. Free high-speed Wi-Fi and free parking are offered. The space Paddock is a beautiful, modern 1 bedroom cottage, perfect for couples or small families who want to escape to the country. Paddock consists of a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and private bathroom; as well as a private garden space attached. Our one bedroom cottage is available with either two single beds or one king in the private bedroom. Both options come with the sofa bed in the lounge area. Please could you let us know your preference when sending an enquiry.  Highchair and travel cot are available upon request free of charge (by prior arrangement in advance of your stay). Sadly, pets are not permitted in Paddock. We also offer attractive surroundings with communal picnic space and BBQ area, and a large, secure car park. Guest access The cottages are on a 15-acre site and all areas are available for guests to enjoy. There is a young nature trail with benches for guests to sit on and take in the beautiful surrounding nature. On site there is a lovely communal 'Island' accessed by a charming wooden bridge over a brook. The Island, with weeping willows around its border, is a great place to unwind and appreciate the tranquillity that the area has to offer. It has a fire pit and BBQ area by the stream for all guests to use free of charge. We also have a large games room equipped with a pool table, table tennis, darts, TV lounge area with a large selection of DVD's, board games. Perfect hang out spot for those rainy days. The Hayshed Licensed Cafe Bar serves food and drinks from morning through to the evening, where you can also purchase logs and BBQ’s. Guests are welcome to use all areas of the site, including the barbecue area, nature trail and the exclusive Hayshed Cafe Bar. Other things to note We have a variety of walks/hikes/ bike rides directly from our site- please ask and we will be delighted to share these with you. We have bikes available for hire so you can explore the beautiful valley, please ask at the Hayshed Licensed Cafe Bar for prices and availability.
