Tranquil Villa in Crete Mountains with pool

Stay in our lovely Villa Galini, which sleeps six in a beautiful scenic landscape, with mountain views, in the western region of Crete. The villa is part of the Souri village complex of only 17 other Villa's and ideal for families, and Hiking groups alike, with a large shared swimming pool, and it's own private parking for your convenience. The old village of Souri is only a ten minute drive by car from the resort of Georgioupolis and it's lovely clean beaches. E.O.T Licence The space Souri Village resort is set in the Cretan mountains near to the old charm and beautiful village's of Souri & Sellia. The villa is part of the Souri village complex of only 17 other Villa's and is ideal for couples and families looking for 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms in a quiet and relaxed, stunning landscape of Crete. The sunny comfortable Villa is about 77m2 and is spacious and airy with a very modern feel. it is full of amenities and the best choice for families, small group's and couples. On Entering in the house you can see the lounge while on your right is the fully equipped open plan kitchen and dinning area. This has the oven, a large fridge/freezer and dishwasher with all the necessary items needed to cook any kind of food. The lounge has a sofa and chairs, a coffee table, and 43"Smart TV with Netflix and apps available (to use with your own account) CD player. Doors open to the covered patio area where there is a table and chairs, Large coal fired barbecue & private sunbeds to relax in and enjoy your privacy outdoor's and in a beautiful landscape, with mountain and sea views, surrounded by the countryside. Going down the small step split level hall way you find 2 double bedrooms,a double bed in one and a twin beds in the other, separated by a light and airy shower room. Next to the second bedroom is the full bathroom with shower, and a washing machines available to use. All the room's are fully air conditioned, & heated should you wish to go in the winter months. mosquito screens to all door's, and shutter's to keep rooms cool. Towels and bed linen are also provided. A cot is also available if needed. Free WiFi available throughout the villa. The villa is non-Smoking, but you are welcome to use the outside space, such as by the front door patio set & the back patio area. With lovely clean beaches only a ten minute drive by car away in Georgioupolis, or for the more adventurous amongst you, mountain bike to and from the local villages, like Litstrada & Vamos, and where you can find locally produced Greek cheeses and yogurt, a Pizza restaurant, Bar's and a British grocery store, Our Villa has it's own private parking space directly in front, making access to the property easy. The kitchen has a Family size fridge freezer, Electric oven and dishwasher, and is is fully equipped if you wish to cook at home and eat al-fresco on the beautiful veranda outside. Alternatively drive down to the small fishing town of Georgioupolis (pronounced YOYOPOLY) to eat or drink in many of there fantastic restaurants and bars, like 'Valentino' Resturant, splendid cocktail bar and 'Sunshine Cafe' also a wonderful pastry cafe. There is also evening entertainment and a Large communal Pool which serves food and drinks all day in the centre by Georgioupoli’s beach. After leaving the airport on your way to Souri Village resort, it is advisable to stop off and pick up some basic supply's such as Milk, Bread, fruit, Water (Wine & Beer) if your are so inclined! as the resort does not have a shop within walking distance, (although for guests staying 7 nights or longer we offer a small welcome pack of basic essentials will be provided by the resort caretaker FREE of charge) As mentioned above, the communal pool (160 m2) with the outdoor large communal BBQ area is at your disposal though out your stay. If however you wish to have a private BBQ, a large coal fired one sit's waiting on your terrace. So you can really enjoy this beautiful patio and have unforgettable lunch/dinner/breakfast. In the pool area there is available free- sunbeds, shower, Lounger's, sun umbrella's, tables & chairs. If there is anything you need to help make your stay easier just let us know. We can provide you with information regarding any extra service you may need, like renting a car, or transfer to and from the airport's. Check in time is from 3pm on wards, and Checking out is 12 noon, though we can be flexible on these times, as long as you let us know in advance. This is one of the best place's in all of Crete, if you really love nature and want to enjoy the magic quiet landscape of this amazing island. NOTE: NO Glass or sharp objects allowed around the Poole area, however plastic cups are available in kitchen cupboards. The Villa has its own BBQ. Other things to note A rental car is a must, or you can hire a taxi to and from the villa at around €15 each way, from a friendly, reliable family run company. I can give you details of both.
