Historic Country Lofted Stable

Newly renovated Stables in historic Castlemaine offers an opportunity to escape for a weekend or more! The space: recently renovated, living room & fireplace, gas stove kitchen (no oven) with all you need to consume delicious local produce, lofted bedroom & beautiful bathroom. The Stables is set within a beautiful cottage garden and large gum tree surrounds. An easy walk to all of what Castlemaine has to offer including restaurants/cafes and galleries-don’t worry we will give you a full guide The space The Stables has a kitchen with gas cooktop/kettle/toaster and Nespresso as well as pots pans, cutlery and crockery (no oven). The bedroom is lofted with two window seats to catch the morning and afternoon light. You will have fresh sheets and towels for your stay. (Please note the stairs are narrow and loft bedroom ceiling low so for those with any mobility challenges maybe reconsider your stay) The bathroom has a full bath set into the historic stonework and overhead shower with shampoo and soap provided. The living room, with fireplace is a perfect way to spend an morning/afternoon or evening. A comfortable sofa and armchair will allow you to dream the day away. A dining table and chairs is provided, lit by carriage lamps. You will have access to a courtyard with chairs and table to enjoy a meal or wine and cheese of an afternoon. There is strictly no smoking at the Stables or surrounding property. Guest access The Stables are at the top of the property and you will have access to the Stables with its own entrance and it’s adjacent courtyard. The main house, where we live, is within 50m and we can be contacted if you need. However we understand when people need to escape so will leave you be unless you’re after advice/help or tips!
