The space The apartment is in a cozy courtyard of three houses built in the very beginning of the 20th century. Mikhail Eisenstein, a famous Riga architect, to whom Riga owes much of the famous art nouveau architecture - and the father of film director Sergei Eisenstein - was the author of the project of these two houses. In 1901 a typically eclectic house was built, and in 1904 an art nouveau style house characterized by windows in the form of a keyhole, decor composed of geometric lines, and a picturesque layout of openings. Nearby is Alberta Street - each house there is a kind of art nouveau masterpiece.
