Get away from it all and experience the real Spanish countryside in this three bedroom traditional Spanish farmhouse with private pool, patios and terraces. This 300 year old farmhouse has been restored within 25 acres of olives and almond groves. Located in the mountains just north of Malaga City and 12 minutes from the villages of Casabermeja and Colmenar. Converted into a luxury house with ample indoor and outdoor living spaces. It has its own private solar heated salt water pool. The space The house is set in a quiet rural location with breathtaking mountain views of the Axarquia. It has been lovingly restored and converted into a luxury house with indoor and outdoor living spaces. It has its own private solar heated salt water pool and proudly retains original architectural features which emit the pure rustic charm which surround the property. The farmhouse is accessed along a 3km dirt track from the main road which ascends into the mountains and is surrounded by peaceful and picturesque countryside. You will find it nestled into the valley and set amongst 25 acres of private land which consists of old Spanish oak trees, olive and almond groves. Thus, giving any visitor an expanse of nature and open space ready for pure relaxation or for the more adventurous, exploration. It is only 4km away from the protected Montes de Malaga National park which is a magnificent forest to go for walks and picnics. Our beautiful farmhouse offers two separate lodgings each with private entrances. One for us, so that we are available if you need us and the other which we make available for guests. Our guest house is spacious, thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. It has 3 bedrooms in total. Sleeping a maximum of 8 people. There are 2 double bedrooms, both with en-suite and a third bedroom with 4 single beds. It has numerous private outdoor terraces and patio spaces to relax and recuperate. A fully equipped kitchen/dining room, living room and private pool. All 3 bedrooms have air conditioning. For guests with very small children, a cot, a high chair, baby bath, changing mat and Bumbo seat are available upon request. Please state if this will be needed when your booking is made. There is also a selection of toys, games and books for younger children. There is a badminton set for older children and adults. Also a bridge table is available upon request. Due to the natural rustic character of the house, it has steps and stairs throughout and is not on one level. It is therefore not suitable for wheelchair users. The house has one medium sized resident dog called Pringle. She is scared of everything and everyone but is slowly learning to trust. She is likely to bark at you when she first sees you but after that she is calm. Our dog is regularly wormed and has a flea collar. The house is a non-smoking property. No parties or events are allowed. We strive to make your experience with us an enjoyable one and make ourselves available at any time to advise you or recommend places of interest or activities for you and your family. All inquiries and questions are welcome. Guest access Guests will have complete private access to the entire guest house inside and out. This includes numerous patio and seating areas surrounding it. There is a BBQ dinning area and adjoining patio, a balcony to sunbathe on, the entire pool area which includes both sunny and shaded seating areas, smaller cosy spaces and a play area (table tennis area). As the house is surrounded by beautiful countryside the guests have the opportunity to roam freely around the surrounding areas as well. Other things to note We have introduced an honesty system were guests can use the washing machine and pay 4 euros per load. Liquid washing tablets are provided.
