La Giravolta is the name of our country house in Le Marche region of central Italy. Half an hour from the sea and half an hour from the mountains, ideal!. We have been living in this beautiful area since September 2009 and since spring 2010 we have been renting out our holiday apartments. Since September 2009, we have been living in this beautiful place just outside the village of Barchi in the province of Pesaro/Urbino in Le Marche. In 2007, we saw our home for the first time, dilapidated and overgrown, for years only used for the storage of agricultural machinery and seized by pigeons. It was the first house we visited. There were more but this place didn't disappear from our mind. In June 2007, the house was ours, in October 2007 the plans for the reconstruction of the outbuildings and the renovation of the large house were ready. In July 2008, the redemptive message came that all of our plans were approved and then finally started the work. Just over a year it would take place.... In April 2010, the work was done. The outbuildings are rebuilt, the house has been renovated and the pool is open. Since 2010, we have been renting out our apartments and have been able to host and entertain many guests since the opening. Le marche is not only a beautiful summer destination, also in the autumn period when there are plenty of wine and truffle parties and can be walked wonderfully, and in the spring when nature unfolds and the temperature is often very pleasant, it is a wonderful holiday here! We have 5 in total, 3 with the ground floor entrance and 2 on the attic floors of the large house and of the annex. The apartments on the attic floors both have 1 bedroom and private outdoors. The apartments with the entrance on the ground floor all have a private terrace. On the ground floor are 2 apartments with 2 bedrooms and 1 with 3 bedrooms. All apartments have a spacious living room with TV, and a kitchen with fridge, hob and dishwasher. Apart from apartment Cinque, they also have a combination microwave. In the summer there are mosquito nets above all the beds and there are fans on the bedrooms. A baby bed can be placed in all apartments. The grounds surrounding the apartments are furnished as a garden with olive trees, cypresses and all kinds of flowering plants. On the lower part of the property we have had a swimming pool laid on surrounded by a spacious terrace with comfortable sun loungers. It is wonderful to stay near and in the pool (14x6).
