The modern contemporary kitchen has every facility you could possibly need and is a large space with woodburning stove built into a bespoke two storey stone fireplace that opens onto the gallery above. Dining for 8 overlooks the stunning Ballinskelligs Bay. The lounge has a further stove, oak flooring, quality furnishings and front and back french doors leading onto slate patios, so you can enjoy views of both bay, castle and mountains. On the first floor is a spacious gallery overlooking the dining room and kitchen with stunning views of the bay. It is an ideal space to relax, read or just enjoy the views. Internet, Sky TV, DVD Player provided and the gallery, kitchen dining room and sitting room have integrated wiring for radio/music etc. The property has four bedrooms, all with double beds (one cot) and en suite bathrooms, the main ensuite having both a large corner bath and separate shower. Saoirse is situated on a large 1.6 acre site with all the space families could wish for and ideal for children. There is parking for as many cars as you wish to park. With two patios and large grassed areas it is ideal for adults and children. An outside shower is invaluable following trips to the beach. Saoirse is ideally located for golfers, with the famous Waterville golf club near by. The beach in Ballinskelligs is second to none, with watersports available and if you wish to learn to surf or wind surf you have come to the right place. Daily boat trips to the Skelligs depart from Ballinskelligs pier and fishing enthusiasts are spoilt for choice with both lake and sea fishing. Local attractions include the Art Gallery, Chocolate Factory in nearby St Finian's Bay, excellent restaurants, Portmagee, Caherciveen, Waterville Skellig Michael (recent location for star wars filming) and Valentia Island. Just put this into google maps and it will guide you to the house. To Ballinskelligs beach (from Saoirse): Turn right out of the gate to the end of the road. Turn left and continue to the cross roads. Go straight through and when you reach the main road cross over to the beach car park. Alternatively turn left out of the gate. Take the next right down to the main road. Turn right and continue on past Cable O Leary's pub. Next left is the entrance to the beach To Skellig Ring and Valentia: Turn right out of the gate to the end of the road. Turn left and continue to the cross roads. Turn right at the cross roads and continue on for 15.54 kms via St Finian's Bay (Chocolate Factory on right) and Portmagee. Cross bridge to Valentia Island. Some of the most stunning scenery in Ireland. Alternatively if you are visiting Caherciveen, you might like to take the ferry from Reenard Point To Skellig Islands: Boat trips from the Pier Ballinskelligs and from Portmagee To Waterville: Turn left out of gate and take the first right to the main road. Turn left and take the right for Waterville (signposted). Continue to the next T junction and take the right for Waterville. Directions to the Waterville Golf Links via R566 and Ring of Kerry/N70: Head north on Cois Trá Lower/R566 Continue to follow R566 3.2 km Turn right onto R567 5.9 km Turn right onto Ring of Kerry/N70 2.7 km Slight right 1.1 km Turn right 400 m Slight left 78 m Turn left 550 m To Caherciveen: Turn left out of the gate and take the first right to the main road.
