The Cabin offers a relaxing and private get away in West Dorset close to the Jurassic Coast. The Cabin is perfect for 2 adults with flexibility for a small cot & dogs are welcome. It has a private garden space overlooking nearby woodland. There is an open plan living & sleeping space with double doors opening onto the decking creating an inside out feel. The location offers easy access to neary towns and coastal spots: Studland, Corfe, Wareham, Dorchester, Lulworth, Swange, Weymouth. The space The Cabin is perfect for 2 adults and there is flexibility to be able to offer space for a small cot for a child. We do accept dogs but just ask owners to be mindful of the space in terms of number of dogs they bring. We do have a friendly dog ourselves who may be within our garden but does not have access to your private outdoor space. Inside the cabin there is a separate bathroom with shower and an open plan living and sleeping space. The kitchen offers a hob and microwave as well as a fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and toaster with crockery and cutlery provided. There is a 2-seater sofa and wall mounted Smart TV as well as a 2 person table and chairs that can be moved throughout the space to offer seating for meals or work. There is a king-sized bed with over bed lighting. The Cabin has its own Wi-Fi that guests can use. There is a bistro table, 2 deck chairs and a BBQ provided for the outdoor space. There is a small amount of secured outside storage space for any large items such as bikes and we can provide access to an outside shower if required. Guest access The Cabin is situated within a quite lane in the West Dorset village of Bere Regis, at the western terminus of the A31, where it joins the A35, offering easy routes to visit nearby towns and the coast. Neary towns worthy of a visit are Wareham (7 mi), Dorchester (11 mi), Blandford Forum (16 mi), Wimborne Minster (12 mi), Swanage (18 mi), Weymouth (20 mi) Poole (13 mi), Bournemouth (17 mi) and Lyme Regis (37 mi). For a trip to the coast, spots such as Sandbanks, Studland, Lulworth Cove, Kimmeridge, Tyneham and Ringstead are all within 20-30 minute drive and offer a great day out. The local travel hubs nearby are Wareham railway station, 6 miles from the village, and Bournemouth Airport, 17 miles away. The A31 and A35 provide easy access to nearby locations. From Wareham railway station, you can access the Purbeck Breezer – an open top bus route running from Swanage to Dorchester via the Purbeck coast. Attractions in the surrounding area include Monkey World, the Tank Museum, Corfe Castle, Hall and Woodhouse Brewery and Langham Wine Estate and Vineyard. Within the village is the Bere Stream, a tributary of the River Piddle, which sits alongside Mays Wood, a 100,000 tree Woodland on 63 Hectares of land bought by Dr Brian May CBE, which offers walking trails with fantastic views of the surrounding villages and Black Hill. The Hardy Way runs through the village which trails from the nearby town of Dorchester, through the Piddle and Frome valleys and along the Jurassic coast. The Jubilee Trail, a 143.2km trail that crosses Dorset border to border, also runs through the village and directly along the lane The Cabin is situated on. The Wareham Forest is also nearby to the village which offers walking paths and cycle trails.
