Cozy private bedroom in a stylish renovated home with garden, sauna and hot tub for ultimate relaxation. Located in a peaceful countryside setting, just 10 minutes from Fribourg and within easy reach of mountains, lakes, and cities like Bern and Basel. The perfect base to unwind and explore Switzerland. The space Welcome to our fully renovated 1980s home, redesigned in 2014 with a mix of contemporary furniture and iconic Eames collection pieces. Guests can enjoy a spacious open kitchen, dining area, and living room shared with our family in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Coffee lovers are in for a treat — Greg will happily prepare a delicious specialty coffee using our professional La Marzocco machine. Your cozy private bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed (160 cm) and a forest-inspired design that reflects the peaceful nature surrounding the house. The room is located on the first floor, next to our bedroom and our 15-year-old daughter’s room. A private bathroom on the ground floor is reserved for your use. In summer, the real highlight is our large terrace and garden: Swedish Skargards hot tub, sauna, fire pit, lounge area, barbecue, outdoor dining space, vegetable garden, and more. What we love most about our home is its perfect balance: only 10 minutes from Fribourg, yet surrounded by nature in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Guest access You'll have your own bedroom and your own bathroom (not on the same floor). The rest of the house is shared with us. During your stay When we are at home, we are always happy to connect with our guests and help with anything you might need. You are very welcome to share a meal with us, enjoy the sauna and hot tub, or simply ask us for tips and recommendations. If we are not around, we remain easily reachable by phone to make sure your stay is smooth and enjoyable at all times. Other things to note Two cats (Barney and Michonne) and a dog (Yoko) are living in the house. It also has a subtenant (my mother) in a separate appartement and a therapy practice. But it's properly separated from the house.
