The apt is 40 m2 and is situated in a very nice typical and classic Torshov building from 1924 with a beautiful backyard. Quiet neighborhood, parks and river very close by. Close by. Fully furnished with all you need! The space Cozy, modern, newly renovated flat, fully equipped with all you need. It is close to restaurants, shops, foodstores, wine store, pubs, tram and bus. Building from 1920’s. Beautyful backyard. Close to the park Torshovparken and Akerselva, where you can stroll with beautiful scenery upriver (for a swim in the summer) or enjoy a nice walk to downtown. Quiet nighborhood. Torshov is a centrally located (13 mins by tram to Oslo S), with great commute to all of Oslo. Three tram-limes stops 300-400 m away. Busses also stop close by (bus 20 and 30). The tram takes you to Storo in a coupe of minutes, where the Subway takes you to UiO (Blindern)/Forskningsparken, Majorstua, Nasjonalteateret and Carl Berner. Subway hubs where you can switch to other subways to the rest of town. And the trams and buses take you downtown or up to Sinsen. The trolly and bus also takes you to cross-country skiing areas and great hiking areas in 15 mins. Or you can walk down the beautyful Akerselva to Grünerløkka and downtown. By tram Grünerløkka is just 6 min away. Torshov is a beautiful area of Oslo with parks and beautiful historic, well maintained buildings from 1920’s. There are cafeés, bars, grocery stores, restaurants, coffeshops, bakeries, florist, bookstore and wine store within a couple of hundred meters. The apt has a fully equipped kitchen. Use everything you want in the kitchen. There is also an office/desk area with a large Apple screen and keyboard, you can use, upon request. Apt is equipped with 55" tv and is connected to apple tv for tv streaming. Separate wc. Bathroom has shower and a combined washer/dryer. The bedroom/alcove is behind the blue wall. It has a 150x200 queen bed, that sleeps two. It is possible to sleep on the couch as well, but the alcove is not suited for total privacy if you are a couple + one ... as it has an airing-window and beed-curtain towards the living-area. It is possible to sleep one person on the couch, or I can acommodate an exrea foldable bed if needed for a third person. Please ask for additional pictures if you want. The backyard is beautiful, with benches and tables for eating or relaxing with a glass of wine outside. The georgious Torshov park, right outside the building is wonderful for picnics, barbeque, ballplay, or just relaxing and sunbathing. Plenty of restaurants and bars are just a couple of blocks away, and there is also a tabletennis, sandvolley court, minigolf and a training center close to the park. Akerselva river, a 5 min. walk from the apt, which is a wonderful stroll towards downtown or upwards to BI business chool and Nydalen + Storo shopping center. You have everything you need within a short walking distance, yet the area where the apt is is quiet and very safe. There is an extra travel bed available, by request. Choose between a double douvet down blanket/comforter (200 x 200 cm), or one or two single douvets. No party pat! This classic 100 year old building is habited by working families with children. Centrally located in Oslo, 12 mins by tram or bus from Oslo Central Station. Quiet and quaint neighborhood. Safe, and close to public transportation, shopping, grocery stores, pubs, restaurants, and parks and the river walk (Akerselva).
