"Burward" Cottage is a fully self-contained cottage Situated on Western side of Lake Macquarie 50m from lake Lake access is a short walk to the park 100m away We are set up for 2 guests, but can accomodate up to 5 guests with the second and / or 3rd bedroom available by arrangement We have a secure fenced back yard for children and pets Fully vaccinated Pets welcome by arrangement Please read the house rules re pets and let us know you have a pet that you wish to join you when apply The space The house is fully self-contained and has a newly renovated full kitchen Cereal Breakfast provisions are provided for your first two mornings including Tea/coffee supplied Refrigerator Microwave Full sized oven Induction cook top Crockery, cutlery & glassware supplied A lovely covered deck allows you to sit and look out to the Lake Macquarie BBQ on the back deck The Main bedroom has a Queen sized bed, walk in robe and Ensuite Other bedrooms available by arrangement , if there are more than 2 guests One contains a Double bed at $30/person /night extra with provisions for breakfast are included Linen and towels supplied And the bedroom has a king single and a roll away single which can also be made available if required The Main bathroom has a full size bath Laundry facilities: washer,washing powder, iron and ironing board and a cloths line There is off street parking for 1 car EV mini charging point available at $10/ day Air conditioning Wi-Fi 65 inch Flat screen digital smart television with Netflix is in the lounge room DVD player and a small number of DVDS and board game are available Secure fenced back yard Pets are welcome at owners digression All dogs coming onto the property must be up to date with vaccinations and certificate sited before booking, micro chip number on certificate must match micro chip number of the dogs on arrival, worming and flee treatments must also be up to date this is for your pets safety and that of following guests as we work closely with several local breeders who have clients picking up young puppies who haven’t yet achieved full vaccination and are at risk if exposed Your pet must have its own bedding and must not get on any of the furniture They must not enter the bedrooms and they MUST NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED in the house Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and any damage caused by them must be rectified or replaced We are a non smoking accommodation This includes the rear deck areas as if doors are open smoke can still affect the inside of the house Guest access there is a storage area under the house if required Other things to note We now have fast speed FTTP so no need to disconnect anything just find the provider and login Council collects rubbish bins on a Monday The green bin is a weekly service so we ask that all food scraps and dog poop only go in this bin Rubbish and recycling bins collected on alternate Monday so are each only collected once a fortnight We will put the bins out on the street for you but ask that you put your rubbish out into the bins on Sunday evening if your stay is over that period Registration Details PID-STRA-3094
