Our lovely apartment is located in one of the historic districts of Milan, in the heart of the Naviglio Grande ( Metro Porta Genova ) . The area is the center of international reference of Fashion and Design. There is a rich nightlife, and you can find many trendy bars , clubs and restaurants. The space The recently renovated, brightly lit apartment enjoys one of the most spectacular views in Milan, directly on the Naviglio Grande canal. There is a bohemian atmosphere in the neighborhood. For many, the Navigli represent the most authentic Milan, not surprisingly also chosen for many film and advertising sets. The Darsena area (the ancient “port of Milan” where the Naviglio Grande flows into) was redeveloped for Expo 2015 and together with the Naviglio Grande, has become one of the most attractive places in Milan. The apartment consists of a large living room that can be used as a bedroom, with a comfortable sofa bed with a certified orthopedic mattress with Aloe Vera coating (see ad photo).and TV. The bedroom is large and equipped with a double bed, a closet and all amenities, exactly as visible in the photos. The kitchen is fully equipped, with table and chairs, complete with dishwasher and microwave and everything you need for a comfortable stay and enjoy the view of the Naviglio Grande from the typical “Old Milan” style balcony. The bathroom is completely renovated with finishes and a fine shower, and there is a washing machine. To maximize guests' comfort, we have acoustically insulated the rooms and windows. Please read the “house rules” as carefully as possible before booking and ask us about any concerns so that you can enjoy your stay to the fullest without any mishaps. The apartment and its location are ideal both for a pleasant sightseeing tour of Milan and for those who are in town for work. The location is extremely convenient for getting anywhere else in the city in a short time. Within walking distance is the “Porta Genova” subway station, cab rank and surface transportation (streetcar and bus) leading directly to the Duomo and the nearby Bocconi and Cattolica Universities. Near the apartment there is also a bike-sharing station where you can rent a bike either to ride the bike path that starts a few meters from the apartment or to go quickly to the center. A nice walk takes you along Corso Genova and Via Torino, famous Milanese shopping streets that lead directly to Piazza del Duomo in 25 minutes. The apartment is also located right in the heart of the international Design and Fashion hub district, where Milan's famous Fuori Salone del Mobile and Fashion Weeks stand out. Various cinemas and theaters are within easy reach. Every Saturday there is a little market-literally "under the house" on the Naviglio Grande-and every last Sunday of the month also on the Naviglio Grande you will find one of the largest antiques markets in Italy (approx. 350 exhibitors) where you can have fun strolling among the stalls.
